What are some future topics for presentations?
Hi BI UG Members!

Thanks for joining the site.  I really would like to get some feedback on some future topics that we could present or find someone to present to our group.  What are some things that you guys are interested in hearing about?

Thanks in Advance!
Justin

I just mentioned to Mel that I could present on something like "How to Make PerformancePoint M&A Charting Sizzle w/ Custom MDX".  With some advanced notice, I could probably prepare for this at your next meeting in San Diego (June?)  The presentation would be on two levels, with level one being business-side impact from end results, and level two being a medium-deep-dive into how-to for developers.  I can extend, or shorten either level, based on attendee job-role and expressed interest.  In recent years, I presented to mixed groups of 40-50 at San Diego SQL Users Group, once on Analysis Services 2005 OLAP Performance Design, once on PerformancePoint Dashboard creation.

I have to miss the 4/2 meeting, so please reply to dupton@decisionlab.net with any questions.

Hey Daniel,

We are definitely interested in having you speak next month at our user group meeting in San Diego in June.  Do you have some time in the next few days to discuss details?

Thanks,
Justin Slagle

I believe the group could benefit from one or more sessions on applying data mining (DM) techniques to help solve everyday business problems. The business applications are endless...

Microsoft really promotes this approach (using DM) with SQL Server 2008, yet I suspect most deployments don't include this type of analytic capability.
Does anyone else think this topic is interesting and would bring significant value to our group meetings?
