Microsoft today announced Xelleration to be one of the top 3 winners of the Microsoft Business Intelligence Solution Demo Contest. Xelleration was one of the participants in this contest and submitted a Sales KPI Dashboard Solution that leverages SharePoint MOSS 2007, Performance Point Server 2007 and Windows Gadgets. The solution is used to display KPI’s on a UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) Hand Held Device with data getting updated incrementally on a scheduled basis. This data can come from any Transactional System (Dynamics, Siebel, etc.) and the KPI's are defined in a data cube. The Windows Gadget is the presentation layer of the solution.
